During this Covid-19 / Corona Virus epidemic they are suggesting that we wear face mask. Now they already said that it won’t stop us from getting sick. However it may stop the spread if you have it. Today I wore one for the first time while going out. And until I get my cloth ones I ordered I don’t see myself wearing these ever again. unless I go into a store such as Costco that requires them.
My reason for this?
It’s simple, they have been saying since day one to wash your hands often and avoid touching your face. The mask doesn’t fit my face right and I was constantly having to adjust it. To me I see this as being unsafe for my own personal self. I am out shopping and picking up groceries that have been previously touched by others that may or may not be sick. So I would rather do my shopping while not touching my face, get in my car sanitize my hands and go home. Please do not get this confused with me being insensitive about others. I do everything I can to keep my distance from others.
While on the topic of face mask, why are people wearing them in their own cars?

The masks don’t do anything. It’s all the illusion of safety. And in your example you’re right, it’s more harm than good.
