If you’re someone like us, that only have a few shows on National TV that you actually watch. Then cutting the cord may be something for you to look into. As the cost of cable and satellite TV services always going up we were tired of it. We were spending over $100 a month to watch only a handful of shows and while we could afford it, why waste your money like that? We are now spending only $20 a month with Philo (Use this link when you sign up and get $5.00 off your first month, we also will save). One of the greatest things about streaming TV is that you cut out all the taxes and extra fees.
What do you need to use Philo?
It’s simple you will need a couple of things though.
- A TV which Probably 99.99% of you have and if you don’t you can watch on your phone or computer. Or if you’re looking to upgrade check out amazon for some great prices.
- Internet service if your reading this you I’m guessing you have it
- Apple TV, Firestick, AndroidTV or Roku however if you have a Smart TV you probably won’t need this.

We also cut the cable a couple years ago. We have Philo, Netflix and Disney+ and have everything we want to watch.
Philo has its issues (with us at least) but I think all live tv streaming apps still do. We also use Amazon prime video
